Picture is clear both in day time and night time. If you do, it will reduce the battery time but not as much as you would think. Very long battery life if you’re not using the motion/recording constantly. This is my newest addition which i am enjoying very much.
They have worked consistently, without a glitch, for years. I have many of their cameras both for indoor and outdoor security. The price is fair for the quality of the product you receive. They make a quality product that they stand behind. Will update this later when i’ve had more time to evaluate. It is easy enough to remove from the mount, but then it has to be aimed again when you put it back. If it had a removable battery, that would be much better than taking the camera down. One thing i don’t like is that the battery is not removable, so in order to charge, it has to be taken down and plugged in to usb for a few hours. This one is set up out where the children play, and we’ll see how well it works over time. This is a nice camera to have – with the battery, it can be placed almost anywhere. I purchased a 64gb sd card for this camera which holds plenty of video. The battery is big enough that it takes several hours to fully charge. By the end of the week it was still at a half battery so i took it inside to add an sd card and fully charge it.
I ran it for an entire week on the ½ charge it had out of the box. The battery life is better than i expected. But it turned out to be a good option for my setup. I picked this wireless & battery powered camera and figured if it didn’t meet my needs i’d just send it back. For my second camera i opted for something outdoor and wireless because of where it was going to be installed. It’s good, but it’s indoors and doesn’t cover one angle of the front of the house. I purchased another camera a few months back, when there were some vehicle break-ins in our neighborhood.
